This listing  is for one  replacement oil pan that includes   new die cut rubberized  gasket we include the gasket so that you can replace the pan , do a clean installation job.  you don't have to use any type of silicone sealant on the pan to seal it to the engine.silicone sealants  are  great for bath tubs ,  windows and doors around the house . UNLESS you are a professional  and you are using original Nissan engine assembly compound, during  the oil pan installation there is a good chance that  a dried up silicone sealant  debris  will be clogging the oil sump as you are driving down the street. Oil sump is the part of the oil pump that is picking up your engine oil and lubricated the engine with it.
 Install die cut gasket during the oil pan replacement procedure . drain plug and the drain plug gasket is important.
